Juliana Lima Coelho

Juliana Coelho is an architect and urban planner with experience in the humanitarian development sector, both public and private. For the past three years, she has been working in the sector with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. During this period, she participated in the planning, design, and implementation of 21 temporary shelters, transit centers, and reception/documentation centers for refugees and migrants in Brazil, in addition to participating in the development of a contingency plan and projects to improve spontaneous occupations and spaces provided by providing technical support to Operation Acolhida, the Brazilian government's response to the flow of Venezuelan refugees and migrants to Brazil.  which, in 2020, also included actions to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak.
